How do we work?

There is a great deal of scientific evidence that indicates that a proper nutrition and a physical exercise suited to our needs makes us live longer and with a better quality of life.

Often just by modifying small details of our lifestyle habits we can create big changes that will have a very positive impact on our health.

At Loveyourself we are here to help you in this process and show you the best way to take care of yourself!

Our main objective is that the person learns to be self-sufficient and maintains the habits learned for the rest of his or her life!

We can help you to:

Eating better: Contact us if you want to maintain your weight, lose weight, gain muscle mass, define, learn nutritional habits, adapt your rhythm of life to your meals,...
  • Adapt your nutritional needs to your sporting objectives: Everyone should engage in physical activity tailored to their needs and goals. It is never too late or too early to start and nutrition is an essential part of the process. Contact us whether you are a person who has never done sport before or if you are a professional athlete or bodybuilder. In any case we will prepare the right menus for you and we will advise you on everything related to nutrition.
  • Recover from your illnesses: Did you know that it has been proven that physical exercise and a correct diet are as capable of improving your health as medication? Contact us whether you have high cholesterol, hypertension, obesity, diabetes, have suffered from a heart attack, respiratory diseases, etc... As doctors we will assess your case and advise you on the right diet and the recommended "dose" of exercise for your case. If you need it, we can also offer a personal trainer service to help you achieve your goals.

These are the basis of our methodology

  • Our goal is to help you to change your lifestyle habits to improve your health through proper nutrition and physical exercise. In some cases this means losing or gaining weight.
  • If it is necessary to modify your weight, we will do so with fully personalised dietsadapted to your life/needs, to what you know/can cook and to your food preferences (you will never eat anything you don't like because we will work out the menus together during the visit).
  • We dedicate all the time necessary to attend you in the consultations.
  • We do not work with shakes or supplements. We believe that these types of diets are not sustainable in the long term as they do not really teach you how to eat. We, on the other hand, are here to teach you how to be self-sufficient. Our main aim is that you will NOT need to come and see us again after you have been with us for a while. All the food on our menus can be bought in the markets/supermarkets of any city.
  • We do NOT perform miraclesYou'll have to do your part to see results. However, we promise to make it easy for you and to accompany you throughout the whole process: we will always be there for you.
  • We rely on scientific evidence. The entire Loveyourself team has a medical or nutritional background and is trained in NO we have no relationship or agreement with any company in the food or pharmaceutical industry. NO we have no conflict of interest or commercial interest of any kind with supplement or diet brands.

Steps to follow

Step 1

Contact with us

No matter in which country or city you live: we also do consultations by Skype. We speak Spanish, English, Portuguese and Catalan.

Step 2

We will assign you a day and time for your visit

Loveyourself is open from Monday to Friday from 8am to 8pm. Some Saturdays open according to calendar. Closed on Sundays.

Skype consultations take place until 20h (GMT+1).

Virtual consultations can be made every day at any time through our mobile application, although answers will always be given during working hours.

Step 3

We will send you homework before the first consultation.

Before you see us for the first time, we will ask you to fill in two very important documents. These must be sent to us at least 48 hours before the consultation)!

Initial Questionnaire: In it we ask for details of your medical history, nutritional habits, sports history, objectives.

Food consumption record for the last 3 days: We ask you to tell us (without cheating!) what you have consumed in the last 3 days.


At Loveyourself we analyse and work with them before you come to the consultation. The basis of success is the personalisation of the process and the answers give us valuable information about your nutritional habits which we then discuss during the visit.

Step 4

See you on a first visit

The first visit lasts approximately 2 hours if you come individually and 3 hours if you come with a partner (the combination is up to you).

It is divided into 4 parts:
a) Nutritional survey: Analysis of your eating habits and definition of the objective to be achieved (45′).
b) Anthropometric study (weighing, measuring % of fat,...) (15′).
(c) Joint construction of the menus (60′).

Step 5

We are at your side 24 hours a day

At Loveyourself we do NOT consider it necessary to visit you every week as you will need a minimum of consistency to see results (and we will not charge you to weigh you). That is why we visit you every 30-45 days approximately.

However, we are ALWAYS by your side, accompanying you along the way and available to answer your questions and doubts through our virtual consultation, which you can access from any smartphone, tablet or computer. This application also allows you to always have your menus, routines, schedule of visits and monitor your progress at hand.

Our virtual practice strictly complies with the confidentiality parameters required by Spanish legislation (LOPD) so you can be sure that no unauthorised person will have access to your data and information.

Step 6

Face-to-face follow-ups

The in-person follow-ups (or by videoconference if you are outside Barcelona) consist of:

a) Anthropometric study (change monitoring).

b) Nutritional survey (extension of menus, restructuring of meals,...).

Step 7

Maintenance

Once you have achieved your goal, the real challenge begins: staying at the right weight. A person is considered to have definitively changed their habits when they are able to maintain them for a period of 2 years.

For this reason, at Loveyourself we offer you the possibility of carrying out virtual consultations directly with us without the need to attend the consultation in person during this period. This way you will always be accompanied when you need it and you will have the security of being able to ask us any questions without having to make an appointment.
