Tips for the first visit

  • It is recommended that you find a day and time when you can spare the time.. The approximate duration of the first consultation is 2 to 3 hours.
  • Se recommend that you wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing to make it easier to carry out strength and flexibility tests, if necessary.
  • Please note that the bioelectrical impedance scale works through barefoot contact, so it should be climbed barefoot. At the same time, the less clothing and accessories (watch, belt,...) the more precise the study will be carried out.
  • For a good nutritional survey it is strongly recommended to fill in the following fields three-day food consumption recordThese documents are attached and should be completed in good time and with care (we are aware that a lot of detailed information is requested). The more detailed, the better, but it is also OK if you cannot be very precise. It is recommended that they are sent at least 24 hours before the first visit so that we have time to study and analyse them.

We know that there is no perfect diet; the best diet is the one that the client will follow, even if it is not perfect. So we base ourselves on this premise for a proposal of dietary guidelines based on the tastes and preferences of the client, as well as on their habits, schedules and knowledge of cooking. It is therefore extremely important to have this information beforehand, which facilitates the task of adapting the nutritional section to our client in the best way possible, without causing major changes in their habits.

For this purpose, we also ask that 24 hours before your first visit you send us the nutritional information of those foods consumed daily and for which this information is available. The best way to do this is through a photograph of the box where the nutritional information of the food appears (informing which food corresponds to each photograph). These are foods such as: toast, milk, yoghurts, cereals, creams, soups, consommés, prepared or frozen foods such as Russian salad, sauces (tomato, mayonnaise,...), juice-type drinks or similar (soya, horchata,...) or other frequently consumed products for which this information is available. This does not need to be done for fruit or vegetables, meat, fish or eggs, unless they are processed (scrambled vegetables, stuffing for pies, etc.).

  • It is highly recommended to get a kitchen scale for weighing food.especially if you want to eat foods such as rice, pasta, potatoes, bread or pulses.
  • It is also essential to fill in the initial questionnaire and send it at least 24 hours before the first visit. Without it, it is impossible for us to get an idea of what the client needs, what their strengths and weaknesses are, to make an estimate of the most appropriate programme to follow or to design a coherent proposal that is adapted to the client.
